Comparison of new and old wooden larch feeder
The photos show a comparison between a newly made larch wood steering wheel and an older version that has been exposed to the elements.
The new feeder has the characteristic warm yellowish color of fresh larch, with a visible wood texture and a smooth surface. The wood looks fresh, clean and unite.
The natural aging process of larch is clearly visible in the older barn. Due to the influence of sun, rain and air, the wood has gradually turned gray and acquired a noble gray patina, which looks natural and aesthetic. The surface is slightly rougher, the color tones are calmer, which gives the product a rustic character. Over time, small cracks (cracks) may also appear, which are typical of natural wood and testify to its authenticity.
Such a change does not affect the durability of the product, but rather emphasizes the natural character of the material and its contact with the environment.
